Before recommending a system, we look at the equipment moving across the floor, the traffic volume, whether there's chemical exposure, and what the slab is already dealing with, so the surface profile, film thickness, and topcoat actually match the job the floor has to do.

    Forklifts, pallet jacks, and rolling equipment put concentrated point loads and abrasion on a floor that foot traffic never will. We factor equipment type and traffic volume into the surface profile and topcoat we recommend.

    Chemical & washdown exposure, assessed case by case

    Some industrial spaces deal with oils, cleaning chemicals, or regular washdown — others don't. Where that exposure exists, it changes which topcoat chemistry and film thickness make sense, so we ask about it before recommending a system.

    Every industrial quote starts with an assessment of your slab and your operation, not a standard package.

    Surface profile

    Heavier mechanical traffic generally calls for a more aggressive surface profile than a foot-traffic-only floor, so the slab can hold a thicker, better-bonded system. We assess this during surface evaluation rather than assuming a standard profile fits.

    Moisture & slab condition

    Older industrial slabs, slabs on grade, or slabs with a history of moisture issues need to be checked before any coating goes down — moisture that gets trapped under a coating can cause problems later. We test and address it as part of preparation.

    Safety striping & zone marking

    Aisle lines, pedestrian walkways, and hazard zones can be built into the coating system where a facility wants them. It's an option we discuss based on your layout, not something added to every project by default.
